Palate: Smooth silky tannins, blackberries, dark cherries and a smoky finish.
The Caiaffa family do not use any insecticides or pesticides, choosing to work in harmony with nature and create a balanced ecosystem beneficial to both the grapes and the environment. A really elegant red that only spends 3 months in oak so that the fruit really stands out. Not disimilar to a Primitivo but with a smoky finish. Pairs well with Burrata which is from the same region.
